Summer Camp 2026 applications

.Below you can see a listing of all the camp themes we are running this summer and the locations they are running at. You can apply for in-person camps now with a very small deposit.
Dates: Most camp locations are running weekly camps offered from July 6th to August 28th 2026. You can select any weeks that fit your schedule. No camp on holiday Monday August 3th
Times: Camps run from 9am to 4pm
Drop off between 8:30-9:00am
Pickup between 4:00-5:00pm
Extended care: Extended care beyond the above times is not available during 2025

Locations: Guelph, Hamilton, Kitchener Breslau, Kitchener South, London, North York, Toronto West Kingsway, Toronto West Runnymede, Waterloo North, Waterloo Uptown.
Ages: Students need to be the at least the minimum age of the theme in the summer to participate. Camper identification (e.g. birth certificate) will be randomly checked for age verification. Falsification of age may result in dismissal from the program without a refund. If you have questions, contact director@brickworksacademy.com.
LEGO JR. ROBOTicS CAMP
Calling all young lego robot designers! This is the best way to get started. Together, we’ll learn how to build cool robots and other machines. We’ll show you how to use gears, belts, motors, and computers to bring your robot to life by learning some programing. Student will engage in a mix of building activities including the lego robotic system WeDo 1.0 and 2.0, Lego Creator sets, crafts, board games and video games.
Parents: Designed specifically as an intro for younger kids, this camp covers all the basics of mechanics. They’ll be budding engineers by week’s end!

This camp is for ages 6 to 9. Note: Sorry students who are not yet 6 may not attend regardless of lego proficiency. Proof of age will be checked.
Kinder Engineers
5 and 6 year olds want to join us at camp too! Introducing our newest camp theme for our youngest campers ever. Through our love of LEGO and Robots your children will get a head start on Computational thinking through Decomposition, Pattern Recognition, Abstraction, and Algorithms and it will be FUN!
Together, we’ll learn how to build cool robots and other machines. We’ll show you how to use gears, belts, motors, and computers to bring your robot to life by learning some programing. Students will engage in a mix of building activities including the lego robotic system WeDo 1.0 and 2.0, crafts, experiments, and play based learning. All technology equipment is provided by Brick Works Academy (you do not need to bring your own computer or tablet)
This camp is for ages 5 to 6. Note: Students must have attended Junior Kindergarten in a formal school setting before attending camp. Sorry students who are not yet 5 in the summer may not attend regardless of lego proficiency.

LEGO Mindstorm Robotics CAMP
Got crazy-awesome lego skills? Or just getting started with lego robots? Either way, this camp is for you. We’ll break into groups to design and build our robots – and then focus on programming them to use a bunch of cool sensors… colour sensors, ultra-sonic sensors, gyro sensors, and touch sensors – we love sensors! And your robot will use them all to navigate the super-challenging walled maze. Then, at the end of the week, you’ll use your new mad programming skills and design your own robot to compete in the epic sumo battle! Will your robot have what it takes to beat the competition?
This camp is for ages 9 to 13.

POKÉMON DESIGNER CAMP
Pokémon camp will be a creative camp where students learn to draw Pokémon characters and will develop their own Pokémon cards with their own character art and stories. Our students will also develop digital painting skills with our computers and art tablets.
Our students will play a number of Pokémon inspired actives while developing their creative skills. Activities will be focus on accessible games and tools for younger fans of Pokemon
This camp is for ages 6 to 9.

Youtube Star / Video Editing Camp
Master Video production, shooting and editing with the latest in digital tools. Video communication is becoming as important as reading and writing. Improve your communication and presentation skills this summer by telling stories through video. Filming, editing, music production, planning. Each student will use a mobile video production system and master the skills needed to produce a youtube channel.

MINECRAFT COMPUTER CAMP
Love Minecraft? Then join us for a week in this great virtual sandbox where you can build anything! We’ll cover the basics and then move on to redstone Minecraft machine building and how to design new texture images so you can digitally paint the entire look of your worlds. We will also get to experiment with some Mods that add features and change the game. Older students can try some coding using the Computer Craft mod.
This camp is for ages 8 to 13.

LEGO Fortnite Camp
At LEGO Fortnite Camp, campers will spend a week immersed in the exciting world of Fortnite's Creative Mode, crafting their own custom game maps and playing innovative mini-games. It’s a dynamic, hands-on experience designed to inspire young minds and provide an unforgettable adventure! This week-long camp combines the best of both worlds—engaging in epic gaming challenges and unleashing their imagination with LEGO, all while building valuable skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity.
Locations: Only available in Hamilton and Waterloo North due to Internet bandwidth limitations.

3D Printing and Product Engineering
Unlock your child’s creativity with a hands-on dive into 3D design and printing! Using easy tools like TinkerCAD, campers turn their ideas into real 3D-printed creations while learning essential skills in problem-solving, design, and engineering. With a fun, collaborative atmosphere, this camp is perfect for beginners and tech-loving kids alike. Every camper leaves with new skills, awesome projects, and the confidence to keep exploring the world of STEAM.

Dungeons & Dragons Adventure Camp
Give your child the chance to dive into a world of imagination, teamwork, and epic storytelling with our Dungeons & Dragons Adventure Camp! Designed for ages 9–14, this camp brings young heroes together for a week of quests, puzzles, character creation, and unforgettable adventures—guided by experienced Dungeon Masters who make every session engaging, safe, and fun.
