Camp Cancellations

Changes to camp applications are not available the week before camps start.

TRANSFER POLICY: Transfers to another location, week or theme with less than 4 weeks' notice will result in a transfer fee of $25 plus HST per camper week. Additional fees may result depending on the transfer request e.g., transfer from a 4-day week to a 5-day week. Transfer requests with or without sufficient notice may not be possible due to enrollment numbers. Transfer requests between different households are not available. Cancellations and/or transfers to camp applications are not available the week before camps start.

In-Person Summer Camps 2025

CANCELLATION POLICY: For Summer in-person camps 2025, all camp applications submitted before April 30, 2025 will require a non-refundable 25% deposit.

As of May 1, 2025, all camp applications submitted will be required to be paid in full. As of May 1, 2025, cancellations with 4 weeks or more notice in advance of the start of the intended session will be charged a 25% processing fee of the full camp fee.. Cancellation requests with less than 4 weeks’ and more than 2 weeks’ notice will be charged a 50% processing fee of the full camp fee. There are no refunds or future credits for cancellations given with less than 2 weeks’ notice regardless of cause. Examples include but not limited to, sickness (including COVID), family funeral, injury, travel, child’s disinterest in camp theme. Partial refunds or future credits for missed days or early removal from program are not available. In the event programs are unable to run, refunds will be subject to a 5% administrative fee. Transfer requests between different households are not available. Cancellations and/or transfers to camp applications are not available the week before camps start.

BRICK WORKS ACADEMY RIGHT TO CANCEL: The Program may be cancelled without notice at the sole discretion of Brick Works Academy for reasons including but not limited to government-mandated closure, program locations revoking their occupancy permission, staff shortages, and participation in the Program falling below 50% at any time. In that case, refunds of the fees paid less a 5% administrative fee will be issued.
